THE NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF:
DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA
MUCH OF DELAWARE
MUCH OF MARYLAND
MUCH OF NEW JERSEY
SOUTHERN AND EASTERN PENNSYLVANIA
NORTHERN AND CENTRAL VIRGINIA
EASTERN WEST VIRGINIA
COASTAL WATERS
EFFECTIVE THIS WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING FROM 205 PM UNTIL 1000 PM EDT. TORNADOES...HAIL TO 1 INCH IN DIAMETER...THUNDERSTORM WIND GUSTS TO 70 MPH...AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING ARE POSSIBLE IN THESE AREAS. THE TORNADO WATCH AREA IS APPROXIMATELY ALONG AND 65 STATUTE MILES NORTH AND SOUTH OF A LINE FROM 5 MILES SOUTH SOUTHEAST OF TRENTON NEW JERSEY TO 80 MILES WEST SOUTHWEST OF MARTINSBURG WEST VIRGINIA.
