My Forecast: Thursday 8/16 through Monday 8/20
A strong cold front will approach The Delaware Valley and M/A regions later Thursday and Thursday Night. Ahead of this front, we can expect P.Sunny Skies for Thursday, with Hot and Humid conditions. Temperatures will be in the low 90's. During the afternoon hours, showers and Thunderstorms will move into the region, as this front approaches.
Thursday Night these showers and storms will continue over much of the Delaware Valley. Some of these storms could produce gusty winds, and heavy downpours. It will continue Muggy Thursday Night with lows in the lower to mid 70's.
On Friday the cold front will cross the area during the morning and clear the coast. We should start out cloudy with a few showers, mainly east of Philly, but skies should begin clearing from west to east towards Noon. Temperatures will continue warm, but humidity levels and Dew points, should lower during the afternoon. Highs will be in the mid to upper 80's
The Weekend: 8/18 and 8/19
A large area of High Pressure and cool Canadian air, will overspread the region, both Saturday and Sunday. This will bring us all much relief, and a touch of Autumn. We can expect Partly to Mostly Sunny Skies with a refreshing Breeze. Highs both Saturday and Sunday should stay in the upper 70's. Fair skies and very cool conditions at night, with lows in the low to mid 50's in the Suburbs, and upper 50's to lower 60's in PHL.
The beginning of next week should start out with Highs in the lower 80's and Lows in the low to mid 60's. Another front could bring a few showers later Monday or Monday Night. I'll have more on this later.
