MY WEEKEND OUTLOOK: For Mother's Day.

Quick Discussion:
After our long stretch of dreary, rainy and cool days (9 to be exact), it appears the stretch has a good chance to continue for tonight and tomorrow. The good news, these showers and thunderstorm I expect later this evening, and once again for Saturday, will not be prolonged events, and more scattered in nature. The two culprits are an Upper level disturbance moving through tonight, and a strong cold front moving through on Saturday.

Today (Friday)
Expect a warm and pleasant day with Partly Sunny Skies and temperature in the mid 70's to possibly near 80, over parts of DE and Southern NJ.

Tonight:
An upper air disturbance now in the Ohio Valley, will move through later this evening and into the overnight hours. Some showers and thunderstorms are possible throughout the region between 9:00 PM and 4:00 AM. Lows will be in the mid 50's to near 60.

Saturday:
A cold front will be moving through during the early afternoon hours. P.Sunny skies and warm temperatures in the upper 70's to lower 80's can be expected. However during the afternoon hours a few showers and thunderstorms are possible in some areas.

The best chance for this activity will be in The far Northern and Western suburbs of PHL, towards the Lehigh Valley and Pocono's. Also in our most southern regions over east central Maryland and into central and southern Delaware.

This will most likely occur between 12:00 PM and 6:00 PM. Only a few light and isolated showers can be expected behind the front during early Saturday evening. Cooler temps of 50 to 55 can be expected overnight with clearing skies.

Mother's Day:
A very pleasant day can be expected with Mostly Sunny skies and Breezy conditions. Highs will be in the low 70's. To all the Mother's out there, Have a Happy Mother's day and enjoy your special day.

Take Care,
Ruggie
