Hi Dee,
I'm under a warning now. It's 4:50 PM and rumbling to my west as line of severe storms from Salem south to Dover will move through much of SJ.

You're in the northern line moving through PHL which is also nasty and many warnings have been issued for that line as well. Should be rough across the region until 7:00 or 8:00 PM to the coast. Be safe and enjoy

Actually, it looks like the worse of it's over for now in Oaklyn. I've got moderate rain and some wind. NWS just issued a tornado warning for central Burlington and central Ocean counties. Was this the same storm?

Dee, Just winding down here now as well. The Tornado warning cell is now to your Southeast and moving ENE, it was part of the line that moved through your area. Not a confirmed tornado, but a hook echo on the radar showing some rotation.

BTW I picked up .50" of rain in 20 minutes, not much wind (20-25 MPH) or any hail to report here from this line of storms.

Some thunder and lightning but nothing severe.

Nothing severe here, either. I had my severe event earlier this week, anyway; I got caught in the line that went through Mercer and Middlesex County early Tuesday afternoon!

I just got a call from a friend of mine in Deptford NJ. Said trees and wires are down everywhere and not expecting power until tomorrow morning. This is about 15 miles to my NW or just SE pd Philly in Northern Glouscester Co.

And, that's not too far from here. Paul was coming back from work from Philly via Patco and hit all kinds of local traffic problems due to local roadway flooding.

People on Eastern can talk about the "zone" all they like, but the view looks a lot different if you're waiting for your loved one to come back home safely.

Hey Dee, Yes this was all just to your south and east. It appears Deptford, Blackwood, and the Sicklerville areas, got hit very hard by this line of storms.

Of Course this is just to my north and Northeast, so we both were just outside of the main severe weather.

I recently came across your blog and have been reading along. I thought I would leave my first comment. I don't know what to say except that I have enjoyed reading. Nice blog. I will keep visiting this blog very often.
