Merry Christmas ! Touch of snow into this evening. A bigger snow threat comes this weekend.

Merry Christmas !

A touch of wet snow and mixed precip will be moving through the region during this afternoon and evening. Little or no accumulations for PHL and points South and east. Northern and Western Suburbs of PHL could see a Coating to perhaps 1" . From near RDG to ABE in the Lehigh Valley 1"-2" of snow is possible.

Impressive 12z Runs today with both the GFS and EURO for this weekend ! Both models on board for a general 2"-6" event for much of the Delaware Valley. This for Saturday Afternoon into Sunday morning. Turns very cold with more snow threats into the first week of January ! Merry Christmas Folks, I'll have a more detailed writeup on this system towards mid-week. Finally something that is note worthy for a snow event.

Take Care,
Ruggie
