A Mainly Cold and Dry Pattern for the next 6-10 Days can be expected for M/A States !




Todays 12z H5 8-10 Day Mean:

Both GFS and EURO in very good agreement !
 
Yeah nice PNA Ridge and AO type blocking pattern, BUT this is a COLD and DRY Pattern ! With the PAC being pinched off and no NEG NAO the PV positioning continues to look poor for any EC storm.
 
The STJ and or SPLIT FLOW needs to happen, as the Polar Jet and PV are to overpowering.

This is a moisture starved clipper pattern. Not until the PV eases, becomes more lobed out, or positioned furthern west, We'll likely not see any BIG storm threats until after next weekend.
