Significant Snow Event Likely for Sunday Night and Monday, For Much Of The M/A States !

Weather Update: 8:00 PM Friday ....

Overall trends continue more south and colder with our snow threat for Sunday night into Monday. This now puts much of Central and Northern VA in the game for potentially significant snow accumulations.

At this time from near ROA to LYH to RIC VA and points just north into the heart of Central VA, could see a 3"-6" event. From Parts of Central/Northern VA from... near CHO VA to near DCA and points west (NW VA) 6"-10" of snow accumulation is possible.

For my friends further north: 6"-10" with a few spots seeing near 12" for much of MD and extreme Southern PA over to the Delaware Valley Region. Towards the coast lesser amounts of 4"-8" for Southern NJ and much of Central and Southern DE.

I'll have a better handle on this tomorrow, I'll put out a more solid call tomorrow night. For now these are my preliminary thoughts on this event.

Take Care,
Ruggie

That's great. I thought so by some of your comments. I hope everything worked out ok for you during and after sandy. I read your forums religiously. Didn't understand a lot of it but I could follow it somewhat. Ha! You are the only person I trust with weather forecasts.
