A Touch of snow possible for The Lower M/A States for Sunday AM, followed by Arctic Blast !

For Southern and Central VA: ROA / LYH / RIC VA Areas:

Keeping a close eye on a possible Light Snow event for Sunday Morning 01/17/15 !

The combination of an approaching Arctic Cold front and a developing Coastal storm just off the SE Coast, will bring the chance for periods of Light snow mainly during the morning and early afternoon hours on Sunday.

Any accumulations will be on the light side ! At this time a Coating to 1" of snow accumulation is possible on Sunday AM.
I'll update, as needed for the possible light snow event on Sunday.

A blast of very cold air will follow, as strong Arctic front moves through during Sunday night with a few flurries possible. Windy (Monday) and Colder air will follow for both Monday and Tuesday with Highs only between 30-35 and Lows in the mid to upper teens.

The next chance for any snow or mixed precip will occur later next week, Thursday night and Friday 01/21 or 01/22/16. More on this chance with and update early next week.

Take Care,
Ruggie
