My Call: M/A Snow Event for Tuesday/Tuesday PM 1-21-14

Ok Folks,

Here's my Final Call for M/A Region.

This is going to be a pretty nice hit for many, as a strong Arctic Front and Upper Level energy develop a surface low over Western NC later tonight.

This Storm then intensifies and move ENE to the VA coast during Tuesday, then NE to off the SE New England coast later Tuesday night. Snow will spread into VA during Tuesday morning and advance NE into... the Delaware Valley by Tuesday afternoon.

Snow will fall moderate to heavy at times over SW/Central/Northern VA during Tuesday afternoon and early evening. DCA/BWI to PHL and NYC the heaviest snow will fall later Tuesday afternoon and evening.

For VA
ROA/LYH/RIC .... 3"-6"
CHO to DCA and all of Central and Northern VA ..... 5"-8"
DAN and Extreme Southern VA to NC border ...... 1"-3"

BWI and Eastern MD ........... 5"-10"

The Delaware Valley Region:
PHL & Eastern PA ............ 6"-10"

Much of DE and NJ ......... 6"-12"
Isolated 12"+ near the NJ coast.
Increasing winds and very cold temps will cause near Blizzard conditions over portions of NJ during Tuesday night !!!

NYC .................. 6"-12"

Take Care,
Ruggie
