Some Rain and cooler temps for Monday

A large High Pressure system now over the region will move northeast tonight. This High has brought us a nice weekend, with temperatures in the low 80's and low humidity. A weak storm system now off the Carolina coast will move North and Northwest tonight and Monday. As it moves north and off the coast, some showers and periods of rain will develop later tonight towards the NJ coast.

On Monday this rain will spread into much of the Delaware Valley, especially to the East of Philadelphia. It appears .50" to 1.00" of precip. will fall over much of Central and Northern NJ, and lesser amounts of .25" to possibly .50" in SE PA and DE and SW NJ. Temperatures will remain cool on Monday due to a stiff NE wind, as High's struggle to reach the low to Mid 70's with Cloudy Skies and periods of rain. The precip. should taper off to showers Monday Night as the storm moves northward into Southern New England.
