Hot and Humid with a chance of Showers and Thunderstorms each day !

Monday 7/16 through Friday 7/20

This week will be a Hot one, with plenty of Humidity to go with the heat. A series of weak cold fronts will try to move through the area, but will stall out and dissipate, over or near our region. The best chance for strong and widespread thunderstorm activity, will be Monday and Wednesday afternoon, and again on Friday.

Temperatures will be in the Upper 80's to low 90's Monday through Friday with lows near 70. P.Sunny days with showers and Thunderstorms possible each day during the afternoon and evening hours. Expect P.Cloudy conditions at night. Once again the best chance for widespread activity will be Monday, Wednesday and again on Friday.

I'll update my forecasts throughout the week, with any serious threats of possible Severe weather.

Today, I do see a chance for some Severe Thunderstorms from Much of Virginia into Delaware and Southern NJ. The atmosphere is very unstable as warm moist air is in place. With the approach of a weak cold front later today, and plenty of sunshine from daytime heating. Showers and Strong thunderstorms will develop this afternoon, and continue into this evening. Some of these storm will likely become severe, with Strong damaging winds, Hail, and Vivid and dangerous cloud to ground lightning.
