A NICE START TO THE WEEK !

A cold front moved through the area yesterday and has now cleared the coast. High Pressure will build in, over the next couple of days, bringing a return to more seasonable temperatures and M.Sunny days and Clear cool nights, for both today and tomorrow. Warmer and more humid weather returns for Wednesday, ahead of a cold front approaching from the Midwest and G/L later Wednesday into Thursday. This should bring some showers and Thunderstorms for Wednesday night into Thursday. I'll have more on this towards midweek.

Today:
M.Sunny and Pleasant conditions. Highs in the low to mid 80's

Tonight:
M.Clear and cool. Lows 60 to 65

Tuesday:
M.Sunny and continued pleasant. Highs in the low to mid 80's

Wednesday:
P.Sunny Warmer and more humid. Highs 85 to 90.

Take Care,
Ruggie

Autumn has already started here in my neck of the woods. ;)

Up here in Woodbridge, the distressed trees are already turning (don't know why, since we've had more rain this summer than you), but it's always a rush to see those green leaves turn gold, crimson and on certain trees (I think they're ash, but I'll verify that for you), the most gorgeous shade of purple you've ever seen.

The sumac that grows along 295 has already turned to their autumnal red, and the fig tree outside of my boyfriend's kitchen window is full of little Northern flickers, sucking out the seeds. I'll try to grab a shot this weekend for you.

Now, I just hope they save me some!

Hey Dee,
Thanks for the latest Fall Foilage report from near Mt. Holly !! LOL

Yes you did get more rain than us here in the SW part of NJ in Salem Co. Man did I get ripped from some good storms this summer ! Wow so many times just a matter of 5 to 15 miles from me got pounded, as I watched distant lightning and heard growls of thunder. This Labor Day weekend looks to be PERFECT at this time. Highs near 80 lows 55 to 60 and M.Clear Sat-Mon. I'll updat my Blog tomorrow.

Take Care,
Ruggie

Oh, hell, we can laugh... at least I'm not dragging out that old chestnut from the "Eastern" board topic about the acorns and the squirrels!
