MY WEEKEND AND CHRISTMAS FORECAST.

Discussion and Forecast:
For The Delaware Valley.

A Raw and Dreary start to our 4 day, Christmas Weekend Holiday. A strong Easterly flow, continues to pump, cool and moist air into the region today. High Pressure off the New England Coast is the culprit. This will result in Cloudy and Cool weather Today, with some patchy Drizzle this morning. A strong Cold Front will approach the region on Sunday, from the Midwest and Ohio Valley.

Ahead of this front a strong Southerly flow of Milder, moist air, will overspread the area on Sunday. This will result in Showers and Milder temperatures. Later Sunday into Sunday Night a bout of heavier, and steady rain will result, as the front crosses the area. Some places could even experience a Thunderstorm, as this front moves in Sunday Night. Winds will increase ahead of and behind this Cold Front, with some wind gusts to 35 Mph on Sunday Night.

Behind this front, Skies quickly clear out, and colder (Seasonably Cold) air moves in for Monday and Christmas Day. So no White Christmas this year guys. It looks to be Dry and Cold as High Pressure build in, and overspreads the area, during this time.
