A Soaking Rain on the way for Friday ! Milder Weather Returns for the Weekend and into next Week.

Discussion:

A Soaking rain, along with windy conditions are on tap for Friday. Much of the Delaware Valley will see from .75" to as much as 1.50" from this event. A Storm system now developing in the Gulf States, will load up with moisture tonight, then head NE into the Ohio Valley on Friday. With this western storm track, this means rain, and Milder temperatures, can be expected for Friday and into Friday Evening.

This storm will begin to strengthen and deepen as it moves NE ward. Winds will increase out of the South and Southwest during Friday ahead of the storm. A few isolated thunderstorms are also possible, due to milder air and Upper level dynamics. This storm will pass NW of the region and drag a cold front through Friday Evening. This will bring an end to the rain, and we should begin to clear out later Friday Night.

High Pressure will build in for the weekend, bringing Drier conditions, and above normal temperatures. The Air Mass origin behind this storm is of a Milder Pacific flow, so expect temperature to be Above Normal from this weekend into the Middle of next week. No Cold Air or Snow chances are on the horizon. But after the 7th, we could be looking at Colder Air and an Upper level Pattern change. this could favor the possibility of some snow chances, as we head into mid month.
