A Cold Rain for Thursday & Friday. Possibly ending as some Flurries for Friday Night. Dry but Chilly for the Weekend !

A stationary boundary will set up over the Delaware Valley during Thursday, and slowly move south of the region Thursday Night and Friday. A series of low pressure systems, will move east along this front. Colder weather and periods of Rain are likely for Thursday through Friday. Highs will be in the Upper 40's on Thursday and near 45 on Friday. Lows will be near 40 on Thursday Night and in the low 30's for Friday Night.

As cold High Pressure presses south on Friday, and our last wave of Low pressure moves through, just enough cold air could move in too change the rain to a period of Wet Snow or Flurries, mainly north of PHL for Friday Night. All Precip. should end later Friday night and skies will clear out allowing for a Chilly, but dry weekend, for both Saturday and Sunday. Highs will be in the Upper 40's to low 50's. Lows in the Upper 20's to mid 30's.

I'll have more on this Thursday Night or Friday. This is a tricky and close call for rain to wet snow later Friday into Friday Night. I don't see this being a big threat south of PHL, but some areas North and West of PHL into the Lehigh Valley, could get some little snow accumulations, mainly on Friday Night.

In the Lehigh Valley and Pocono Region's, some wet snow is possible Thursday night as well. The Pocono's could get 1" to 3" of wet snow on Thursday Night into Friday, before tapering off and ending there. Some spots could get a Light Accumulations in the Lehigh Valley.

Take Care,
Ruggie
