March Madness: Brings it all this Weekend !

March can be a wild month, with mood swings and many aspects of weather. This weekend could bring us a touch of Rain, Thunderstorms, Mild temps, then Colder with windy conditions and even a touch of wet snow for Sunday morning. Crazy stuff, but it's what I call March Madness ! LOL

We start off tonight with some light rain moving in during this evening, and possibly a thunderstorm in some spots overnight. This occurs as a low pressure system moves through later tonight, and offshore Saturday morning.

Mostly Cloudy Skies and early morning showers can be expected for Saturday, but Partly sunny and Mild temps can be expected for the afternoon. Temps will be in the upper 50's.

Saturday Night, we start our P.Cloudy for the evening, but skies will become cloudy and some rain will move in overnight. Another storm system will develop on Saturday to our SW and move to the North Carolina Coast later Saturday Night, then zip ENE and out to sea on Sunday.

Just enough cold air may be pulled in behind this system and aloft on Sunday morning, that some areas could mix with some Wet Snow. Temperature aloft will just be cold enough, and surface temps will likely be just above freezing. Any wet snow that falls will have a tough time to Accumulate so therefore, no more than a light Coating in some spots, can be expected mainly over SE PA, and Central NJ.

SJ and DE will likely be too warm with mainly Rain for this event, possibly mixing with some wet snow Sunday morning. No Accumulation in these areas.

Winds will increase on Sunday as our storm strengthens, and High Pressure builds into the area. Skies will become P.Sunny in the afternoon, with Colder temps in the low to mid 40's. NW Winds of 15 to 30 MPH. Some gusts to near 40 MPH are possible.

Take Care,
Ruggie
