We are experiencing an extreme early June heat wave that will continue into the middle of the week, but relief is in sight and a pattern change, to near seasonable conditions will return for Thursday into next weekend. There are even some signs that we return to a cooler and wetter pattern as we head into the middle of June.
Heat Advisories are up for the entire Delaware Valley, and this will continue into Tuesday as temperatures and humidity levels will allow Heat index values to reach 105 degrees for Sunday through Tuesday during the afternoon hours.
Sunday through Tuesday:
HOT & HUMID
Expect Hazy, Hot, and Humid weather with Mostly Sunny Skies, and Fair Muggy conditions at night. Highs will be in the mid to upper 90's and lows 70 to 75
Wednesday through Friday:
COOLING DOWN
Showers and possibly severe Thunderstorms move in for Tuesday Night and Wednesday. More on this tomorrow or Tuesday. Highs will be in the Upper 80's Wednesday then drop to the low to mid 80's for Thursday and Friday. So relief from our Heat wave comes towards midweek and we return to seasonable temperatures later this week.

Oh, this is just "stupid hot".
I'm starting to think that a high of 91° here in Fords on Tuesday just may feel better.
Paul and I are going up the Poconos on Thursday, and it looks like it'll be 55° that evening.
Can't wait!!
Hey Dee,
I really can't stand summer when it gets like this. Hazy Hot and Humid. To think I was out finishing up our deck on Saturday AM, Started puting the 10 x 12 Gazebo and finished it up today, and put it on the new Deck. It turned out great but we picked a bad time to do this LOL !
Enjoy the Pocono's and yes it'll be cooling down later this week, especially the cooler less humid weather.
