Showers & Thunderstorms this Evening mainly over portions of Delaware and Southern NJ

A very nice VIS SAT of storms blowing up in northern VA this afternoon as the tops are sheared NNE into MD and PA. These storms are moving ENE and could affect parts of NE MD, DE and Southern NJ between 7 and 10 PM this evening. Parts of SE PA could get into some of this action as well, but most likely over DE and Southern NJ.

Mid and Upper level SW Shear is quite strong and I think they will weaken some as they move east. Showers and moderate to strong storms are IMO the extent of this action, here in the southern regions of the Delaware Valley for this evening.A very nice blowup and complex associated with the cold front in Eastern OH and Western PA this afternoon as well !
