Sunday 8:30 AM
Once again the entire Delaware Valley is under the gun for Strong to Severe Thunderstorms, from later this morning into the early evening hours. A very unstable, warm and humid air mass is now in place, as a warm front moved northward through the area during the overnight hours. Some strong storms and showers are now moving through portions of Eastern PA, central and northern NJ, early this AM.
A Cold front now approaching from the west will cross the area tonight and then weaken. Ahead of and along this cold front, a line of strong to severe thunderstorms will develop later this morning and this afternoon, then cross the area during the afternoon and early evening hours. Some of these storms could reach severe levels and a Severe Thunderstorm Watch could be issued towards noon today, and continue until 7 or 8 this evening.
My best estimate:
The strongest of this activity will occur between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM over areas west of PHL, then between 12:00 PM and 6:00 PM over DE and NJ. However scattered showers and some storms can still be expected from the late morning into the evening hours for the entire Delaware Valley.
The biggest threat overall will be very heavy rainfall (Localized street, creek & river Flooding) and dangerous cloud to ground lightning with these storms. Some hail and strong gusty winds will also be a threat with localized severe cells.

If I'm reading the Weather Underground hi-def radar correctly (and there's no guarantee that I am), it looks like storm M6 is headed directly towards me.

Your under a Severe Thunderstorm Warning until 12:00 PM
Nasty line of storms. These will also affect me.

11:37 - showtime, and it looks like the worse of it isn't here yet. Very heavy rain, some thunder and the wind is starting to pick up.
Dee,
Your area is in the strongest activity in this line, should be a good show !
Getting some rumbles here now as storms are forming overhead and the line is still looking strong to my west and SW. Should be getting into the action withing next 15 minutes here.
Ruggie
Looks like the main action has moved off to the east, and the rain has lightened up. Good show, but I'm very happy I'm not on the Schuykill right about now. ;)
Dee,
Getting heavy rain now with some thunder and lightning, gusty winds to near 30 MPH.
Plenty of flooding going on with creeks, streams, and rivers, especially over SE PA and PHL areas.
Hey ruggie. This winter should be very interesting!! Take care now!! Tyler
