Coastal Storm to bring Accumulating Snow This Weekend !

Wednesday 12/16/09

I'm doing a quick and brief write-up now, and will have a more detailed discussion tomorrow evening. At this time I'm going to be bullish and go will Accumulating snow for this weekend, This is for the Delaware Valley region, mainly from near PHL and points, south and east into DE and NJ.

At this time the best spots will be in DE and much of Southern and Central NJ. This storm will get underway later Saturday and continue into Early Sunday. Light to moderate accumulations look like a good bet at this time. I'll have a better idea in tomorrows write-up and hope to have some preliminary accumulation thoughts, for the Delaware Valley and other M/A regions.

Stay Tuned as this could be a pretty good snow event, and one to be watched very closely. It has plenty of potential and many trends continue to favor a storm track that would bring a good hit for the M/A States, east of the Apps into the I-95 Cor. and the Coastal Plain.

Take Care
