A Period Of Mixed Precip for Later Tonight into Friday AM, Mainly South of PHL.

For the Delaware Valley Region:
5:00 PM Update: Final Call
Thursday 1/21/10

This event for Friday is not looking like a big deal, many areas from PHL and points south will see a period or two of Mixed Light rain and sleet with possibly some wet snow, from very late Thursday night into Friday morning. Most of these areas will see little or no sleet and snow accumulations, but a few locations could see a light coating of sleet and snow.

Temps Thursday night will be in the upper 20's to lower 30's, and highs in the mid to upper 30's during Friday. A few pockets of freezing rain are also possible during early Friday morning, so be aware of some ice as well. The best chance for some lingering precip into Friday afternoon will be south and east of PHL.

For points just north of PHL, there's a slight chance for some light mixed precip as well, but most areas will be mainly just cloudy and chilly on Friday.
