Some signs of really Chilly weather moving into the Eastern US, from Sept 20th-30th ! The far Eastern US is more likely between the 25th and 30th. Below to Much Below Normal temps can be expected !
The long range GFS H5 Pattern looks incredible. Reminds me of the 09-10 Winter pattern setting up with nice blocking and a large amplified trough in the east. The EURO is also showing signs of these features at the end of it's period at days 9 and 10.
So let's post and track this potential big chill down here on the forum and see how the models and teleconnections come together, as the time approaches.
