----------------------------------------------------

Issued 2:30 PM
Monday 11-26-12
For Tuesday 11-27-12 Snow/Mix Event.

For PHL / Interior Southern NJ /  Northern DE near Wilmington.

Some Snow and Mixed Precip moves in between 5:00 and 7:00 AM and continues into the late morning hours before changing to Rain. During the afternoon hours expect mainly rain, possibly mixed with snow at times. All precip tapers off and ends during later Tuesday evening. Rain and mixed precip could end as a period of wet snow during Tuesday evening. Total accumulations of only a Coating to near 1" can be expected. The best chance for 1" is near PHL, all other areas mainly just a Coating to 1/2" over interior SJ and Northern DE. Temps range from 34 to 40 during the event.

For The NW Suburbs of PHL & Interior Central NJ:

Some light snow accumulations of 1-2" can be expected, as the snow starts between 4:00- 6:00 AM Tuesday morning. Snow will then mix with some rain towards noon or the early afternoon. Mixed Precip and snow will taper off by early evening. Temps will range from 32 to 37 in these areas during this event.

For Eastern PA and parts of SE PA:
Including Lancaster (LNS) Reading (RDG) Allentown (ABE) The Lehigh Valley, The Pocono's and NW NJ mountains.

1"-3" of snow accumulation is likely for Tuesday, mainly as snow and some mixed precip in these areas. A few spots, mainly near LNS and RDG, could see 4" amounts. Temps during the event will range from 29 to 34 degrees.

For The NYC Area:
Snow and mixed precip to some rain with a Coating to 1/2" possible on grassy surfaces, roads should be fine there. Temps 34 to 41 during the event. Precip could end as some snow showers and flurries Tuesday evening.

Take Care:
Ruggie
