Wed: 6:00 AM UPDATE ....... LYH/ROA/CHO, VA Areas.
I have no big changes to my call. Expect periods of rain this morning, which will mix with and change to periods of snow and snowshowers between 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM from west to east. This activity will continue through the early evening hours before ending. Temps will fall through the 30's during the afternoon and by mid evening We'll be in the mid to upper 20's !
Snow accumulations of a Coating to 2" can be expected from the Blue Ridge Mountains to near Rt 29 > from ROA to CHO VA including LYH, VA.
The best chance for the 2" amounts will be along the Blue Ridge Mountains, while ROA/LYH/CHO will be closer to the lighter amounts of C-1". Roads could become slick towards evening as temps drop below freezing between 4:00 and 7:00 PM !
